Therapist to Therapist  with Norm Quantz

How is Trust Developed Between a Client and the Effective Therapist?

Trust is a very important issue if the client is going to proceed with the counseling therapy process. How that trust is developed depends on how you as the therapist set the framework to enable a trusting relationship between yourself and your client. In this short video clip, I talk about a few points regarding setting up this framework.

With you in mind,
Norm Quantz

From the Client's Perspective with Darlene Ouimet
How is Trust Developed from a Client's Perspective?
A personal account from a (former) client.

"I was nervous the day that I went to meet the counselor for the first time. The intake form part was okay, but I felt myself getting impatient. I was afraid that I was going to have a panic attack, and I kept thinking about the cost of the two hour sessions. I was aware that the therapist was not wearing shoes. That concerned me and I wasn't sure why. I was having trouble paying attention to exactly what was being said. I wondered how old he was.

I knew that I had dissociative identity disorder and I wondered how successful he was with people like me. I had been to other therapists and I was tired. My biggest concern was . . .  Click here to read more.

Promotional Buzz with Tammy Morales

Do you have business cards made up?
Do they have your web address clearly visible?

If you haven't already, you will want to make sure you start off on the right foot when out and about. A business card is a great memory aid for the person you just met. Even if they themselves are not looking for your services, once they have your card, it is very easy for them to refer others. Your cards do not need to be fancy, but they do need the basic information ~ Your Name, Business Name, Phone Number and Web Address.

If you don't have a website, feel free to use the URL address of your Professional Profile page on IMAGEFaceToFace.com. This is a great way to introduce yourself and your services.

Warmly,
Tammy Morales

FaceToFaceGlobal Tech Tips
with Rumilio Morales

When logging in to your Face To Face Global conference room, be sure you are using the assigned User Name & Password. Also be sure you are logging in as the Operator as you are running the conference room meeting.
For best results you should be wearing a headset with a microphone attached when using the voice feature.

As a Room Operator, log in at least 5 to 10 minutes before your guests are due to arrive to ensure your headset and microphone are working properly. You can do this by clicking on the System Settings button in the room you have just signed into, and then perform the audio test. For better quality sound, do not position the microphone too close to your mouth.

Your Online Presence
with James Friesen

Content is King

What makes a great website? Is it the graphics? The easy navigation? Or maybe the cool Flash effects? Well, those can all be important parts of a great website, but they are not the reason people will come again and again to your site. What they really want is content! Good, solid, fresh, informative content. As a bonus, search engines love content too, which will bring even more visitors. That's why the mantra among web experts is "CONTENT IS KING". Without it, you have nothing.

Cheers,
James
