This section is necessary and will set the tone and agenda of the entire Business Plan.
This section includes: Introductory Letter (1)
This document should be customized to accurately address each specific person or group to which you wish to present your plan.
Cover Page (1)
This single page document should be attractively designed and besides the title "Business Plan" should include:
- Your Name
- Company Name
- Address
- Telephone Number
- Date
- Fax Number
- Email Address
- Web Address
- Company Logo
Table of Contents (1)
Outlines the core sections and subsections of the entire business plan; indicating their specific page numbers. This will allow readers to skip to the parts that most interest them.

Re-read and rewrite anything that has changed throughout the process
Once again bear in mind these 5 points as you finish up.
1. Define your objectives for producing the business plan.
2. Allocate enough time and resources to thoroughly research your business plan.
3. Outline the key points you want to make in each section before you start writing.
4. Write your own business plan
5. When writing the plan:
Avoid unnecessary jargon
Economize on words
Use short crisp sentences
Check spelling
Concentrate on relevant and significant issues
Break the text into numbered paragraphs, sections etc.
Relegate detail to Appendices
