Included with your membership is the video email feature that comes with the Face to Face Global technology. You will be able to access this feature within your video therapy conference room.  You can make a video using that feature and post the link on your blog for a quick and easy "in person post" video option!

If for whatever reason, you don't wish to offer therapy outside your association boundaries, just make sure you use your location in the text of your blog and tag your post with the appropriate key words. For example, if you are a therapist in Washington D.C., and your association prefers that you not offer services outside of Washington D.C., use your State in the text of your post and include phrases such as "I am a Washington D.C. based therapist offering online psychotherapy via video counseling, from my computer to yours! If you are seeking therapy in Washington D.C. please contact me to set up an initial appointment, without ever having to leave the comfort of your own home."

You could offer an explanation of your licence agreement, for the clients who wish to seek your expertise, but live outside of Washington D.C.  

  One of the things that you can do to maximize your online presence is blogging.  Have you tried your blog in this site yet?

When I blog, I consider who I want to attract to my blog, and write according to that audience.  What are they interested in? Take for instance this blog post I am writing right now.  I am writing it to the membership in Image Face to Face, but in the future I want to attract prospective members so I will consider creative ways to do that. 

It is important that you think about what your readers want to know.  If you are blogging to attract clients, then consider what kinds of search terms they are typing into Google.  Did you know that terms like depression, marriage therapy, relationship help and key words describing every kind of mental disorder, number in the millions every month, are searched via search engines such as Google and Yahoo, every day? These key words are entered into search engines by prospective clients.

This morning, I am fooling around with the blogging application that we have to offer our membership.  This week I am going to post an article about how to use it and before I do that, there are still a few things I need to learn about it too.  One of those things is how to add a picture, and what it will look like when I do.  So here goes!

My vacation was fantastic! The five of us (reluctantly) came home relaxed, refreshed, and ready to get back into regular life.   I have set a new goal to live and work somewhere by the ocean at least 4 or 5 months of the year by 2014.

I am the Director of Client Relations for IMAGEFaceToFace and I have all kinds of ideas to share with you in the coming months but before I jump right into it, I must tell you that I am leaving for the Dominican Republic in less then 48 hours for a much needed vacation and I am not really in the business blogging head space! I am filled with visions of warm sunshine, ocean beaches, beautiful vistas, fresh fruit, relaxation, peace, serenity and water sports! Some moments I am so excited that I can hardly sit still!
